Hey, my name is Ashley Carrier and this is my portfolio. My name is Ashley Carrier, and I am currently a freshman at Calhoun High School. I am interested in pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education. My strengths and abilities I have are: Responsible, good-time management, good listener, and working with little children. The career I am interested in pursuing is being an elementary school teacher. The reason why I want to have this career is because I have always been around little kids, and love teaching them. I am also very good with them and responsible. The skills I currently have now are babysitting jobs. It helps getting to know how children react to things and helps me get a better perspective on what I am pursuing on. Any schools available as an primary/elementary teacher is where I would be able to work. My references I have now would speak very highly of me as a hard worker. I take time and effort into what I am doing. They would tell you that I am loyal, dependable and responsible. I would choose samples from PowerPoints that I created, or an essays I have completed for one of my classes. The essay is about the Best American President that was for an AP Government class. I learned many facts about that president. This sample of work can be found in the Productivity Section. The ambitions I have are to get a Masters Degree, and complete everything I need to pursue my career. Creating the portfolio has greatly benefitted me in choosing the right goals and career.
